Forticlient – PC Installation Instructions

1. Click here to download the installer
   1. If the link doesn’t work, go to http://forticlient.com/#download and download the appropriate version for your computer
2. Open the downloaded file
3. Read the License Agreement and accept the terms of use by checking the box
4. Click Next
5. Click VPN ONLY (THIS IS IMPORTANT)
6. Click Next
7. Click Install
8. Click Finish

Forticlient – Configuration

1. Open Forticlient by double-clicking the icon on your desktop
2. Click “Configure VPN”
3. Enter the following
   1. Connection Name: Career Group VPN
   2. Description: VPN
   3. Remote Gateway will depend on which office you work in.
      1. LA/SF: vpnwest.careergroupinc.com
      2. NY: vpneast.careergroupinc.com
   4. Authentication: Change this to Save login and then enter your username for the office (e.g. pweis)
4. Click Apply

Remote Desktop Shortcut

1. Right-click on your desktop and go to New > Shortcut
   1. Type the following for the location of the item but be sure to use your computer name. In this example, we used computer name LACAREERGROUP05:
      
      mstsc.exe /v:LACAREERGROUP05
      
      (if you’re unsure of your computer name, please email Support to request it)
      
      
2. Click Next
3. Type a name for the shortcut: WORK COMPUTER
4. Click Finish

Connecting to your work computer
Please note that these are the only steps required going forward to connect to your work computer

1. Open Forticlient by double-clicking the icon on your desktop
2. Enter your computer network password and click Connect
3. Double-click the previously created Remote Desktop shortcut named WORK COMPUTER
4. Enter your credentials
